About our Alice Competition

This Competition is for registered Middle and High School students and should use Alice 2.0. You can download a free copy of Alice 2.0 at: http://alice.org. To register you must get a Compete-Key from your teacher. Once you are registered you can go into our "Student Area" and find the competition. Each competition works like this:
  • Start-Date and End-Date are specified (ends at Midnight).
  • A sequence of Alice assignments are given.
  • A grading rubric is given for each assignment.
  • You should do each assignment trying to maximize your points on the rubric.
  • Submit your Alice assignments to this system.
  • A score will be sent to you for each submission (this may take a day).
  • You can then improve your assignment and resubmit.
  • After the End-Date point totals will be posted.
  • Competition Rankings will be based upon point totals (high points wins).
  • Ties in point totals will be decided by timestamps on submissions (earlier wins).
